Integrated resorts operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment has reported Q4 operating revenue for 2021 of $480.6m, a 9% reduction year-on-year.

Melco attributes this fall to weaker carrying out in the rolling knap section of its casinos.

Despite this downswing inwards revenue, Melco recorded rock-bottom operating red inward 2021’s 4th quarter. Operating red ink stood at $104.4m, compared to losses of $144.8m inward the fourth canton of 2020.

Melco generated adjusted dimension EBITDA of $94m, which too was downwards on the $53.4m EBITDA generated in Q4 2020.

Even with this somewhat gloomy icon inward Melco’s 4th quarter, it has seen positives in its full-year listings. Total operating revenue stood at $2.01bn for the year, upwardly by US$280m in sum up revenue for 2020.

Melco attributes its full-year revenue gains to improved performances inwards mass-market table games, gaming simple machine segments and higher non-gaming revenues.
