The British people Horseracing Authority (BHA) has prescribed its Interim Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, Alison Enticknap, to the newly-created role of Director of Strategy and Change.

The assignment follows the recent joint announcement from the BHA, Racecourse Association (RCA) and Thoroughbred Group (TG) that horseracing will do work together on the development of a young industry strategy.

In the young role, Enticknap will live the BHA’s Executive leading on the coordination of industry strategy.

Following a structural review, and in demarcation with discussions related to to the sport’s governance structures, the BHA is currently in the mental process of creating a unexampled Strategy and Change department.

Previously, she held a range of mountains of communications, public affairs and programme management roles, including positions at T-Mobile, Virgin Atlantic, Powergen, the Natural History Museum and the RSPB.
